On September 20, 2025, Livingston UNICO had a Bocce Bench Dedication in honor of a past member Fred Picini. He was an avid Bocce Player and a member of the Chapter. He was also a Member of The Livingston Knights of Columbus Council 3533 and The Livingston Old Guard. Fred was honored last year at a ceremony aboard the USS New Jersey (as written in our September 2024 newsletter) for bravery in preventing an explosion aboard his ship, the USS Coral Sea on January 31, 1955.
